Photographers, this one is for you! Your business is one of the more straight forward to market online because you target a specific area (unless you’re a traveling photographer!). Your business is also always “in season” because there’s always something special to photograph! Holiday, babies, weddings, birthdays, you name it. 

If you have a website, one important part to include is the cities you are willing to travel to for the job. Writing a blog about photography? Make sure your titles include the city you offer your services to. This will help you show up for just those areas when people are searching for photographers. If you don’t put these specific cities, Google thinks you photograph everywhere making it that much harder to show up because you have way more competition! You don’t want to come across a screen of someone that lives 500 miles away!

So, I went on an Instagram search and found a mama who is also a photographer! I found Rachel Macon, https://instagram.com/rachel_macon4?igshid=1mlonz8sa5vt2 who is a photographer based in Atlanta, GA! Based off her bio – she also travels! Right now I’m sure is a popular time for Christmas photos, so if you’re in the Atlanta GA area give her a shout! 

There’s so many places to incorporate the cities you work in on your Website as well as Instagram! Title tags and meta description is a great place to start on your Website. If you don’t know where that is, message me and I’m happy to take a look! Always remember to use your location in posts and hashtag with the city as well! For example, #atlantagaphotographer.

Mamas are always shopping on Instagram even if it’s for photographers. They want to see your work so post post post! No one gets sick of professional pictures! What better way to support a small business right now? Holiday photograph sessions are socially distance + you can make a cute card to send to family members that you haven’t been able to see since this pandemic. You’ll have some amazing memories & you’ll be supporting a mama and her dream! We all need some documentation from 2020.
